Terms & Conditions

Plainly is operated by LB Holdings ("we", "us"). When you use Plainly you are contracting with LB Holdings. By creating an account or continuing to use Plainly, you agree to these terms.
What Plainly is
Plainly is an AI reading aid. You paste the text of a document and it returns a plain-English summary, key terms, possible risks and a drafted reply. It is not legal, medical or financial advice. AI output can be wrong or incomplete — always check it against the original document, and consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
Your account
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, give accurate information, and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful use, fraud, spam or harassment.
- No uploading content you don't have the right to use, or infringing anyone's intellectual property.
- No malware, probing or attacking our systems, scraping, or bypassing usage limits.
- No attempts to trick the AI into producing harmful, hateful or illegal content, or to "jailbreak" it.
- No reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service.
Your content and AI output
You keep ownership of the documents you submit and the output generated for you. You're responsible for the text you submit, having the right to submit it, and how you use the results. You give us a limited licence to store and process your content only to provide the service. We may remove content or restrict outputs that break these terms. Rights-holders can report infringing content to us; repeated infringement leads to account termination.
Our intellectual property
LB Holdings owns Plainly, including its software, design, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Plainly within your chosen plan.
Plans, payments and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled.
Service availability
We work hard to keep Plainly running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plainly is provided "as is" without implied warranties.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You can stop using Plainly and delete your documents at any time. When an account is closed, its documents are deleted.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will note the date above. Questions? Contact LB Holdings through the support details in your account or on this website.
